Events Development Coordinator (Work-Study)

Position Summary

This is a Work Study Position. Please see Compensation section below for details.

The Coordinator will assist CEN Events Coordinator with duties as assigned, including, but not limited to requesting and following up on corporate sponsorships and auction items, writing the event program, supporting in the coordination of the various volunteer committees.

The student will generally work from their home but will also likely meet with prospective donors in person, telephone and e-mail.

Duties and Responsibilities

The student will also be expected to participate in periodic meetings with the rest of the event and fundraising teams in order to coordinate activities. Initially we anticipate the Director or event coordinator will accompany the student on physical and telephone calls; however as the student is able to assume more responsibilities, they might attend many such meetings unaccompanied, and then provide the Director or event coordinator with periodic reports on their progress.
