Community Empowerment Network's (CEN’s) operations are
nearly entirely driven by the efforts of volunteers (the only exception is our
Field Manager in Santarém, Brazil, who is paid under contract). We are staffed
along the lines of the Open Source development community. We have several
(currently eight) Working Groups, each with its own lead who manages a number
of Project Leads. These Project Leads are responsible for building and managing
teams of volunteers to execute specific projects. We’re a small organization
and so lines of responsibility become a little blurred at time, but this
provides a terrific opportunity to take on a variety of responsibilities and to
expand your skills. For more information on our staffing structure, please
